Every
woman is unique. Her menstruation, her pregnancy, every childbirth.
Her body is her own physical make-up. She has to know her own rhythms
and cycles. And based on the information given her, she alone can
decide what her body can take...based on her faith as well.
This
book is the full documentation of the Women's Feature Service Philippines
Inc.'s two-year project "Body & Soul Multimedia Discussions
on Women, Religion and Reproductive Health." With support from
the Ford Foundation. It contains forum summaries, news and features
for print media, excerpts of radio discussions and selected responses
from internet forums that will hopefully spark more discussions
among women, policy makers, the religious and health sectors that
would eventually lead to women's well-being.
